FIFA 11

FIFA 11 Demo is a short demonstration of the 2011 edition of FIFA soccer. The demo allows you to play in the practice arena as both Kaká and the goalie and it allows you to play regular exhibition games with a few teams.

You can configure the graphics settings and keyboard settings from the main window. The demo does a good job of showing what is new in the game.

The gameplay depicted in the demo is, honestly, not that different to that of FIFA 10. Graphically, the game is also quite similar to the last year's edition. But you can, of course, see the new features if you look closely and play the game for a bit. The first thing that will stand out is that players now fiercely fight for the ball, even when they don't have control of it. This is a very good change, which allows for better defense and more realistic gameplay. The second most notable change is in passing. Now, the accuracy of passing will be determined by a variety of factors, including player's passing skills, urgency and area of the pitch. Thus, automatic passes should be a thing of the past. Even superstars give bad passes, and that happens a lot in the demo. Another thing that has improved, but only a bit, is goalkeeping. Soccer games have something in common, weak goalkeepers. They will often just stand there with no sense of urgency and concede easy goals. I have found that it is considerably harder to score this year.

FIFA 11 is set to be released on September 28th for PC, XBOX 360 and PS3.
